Have A Good Time is a skate and streetwear brand from Tokyo and was founded in 2010. The brand was created by a small group of graffiti artists from Tokyo. They run a tiny shop in the Nakameguro district where they sell art, toys, music and books that they have collected themselves while traveling. In addition to various streetwear items, you can also buy her clothing line there.

The shop appears chaotic and overcrowded and reflects the diversity of people who spend time there every day. Like the small store, the clothes have their own charm and are characterized above all by their DIY character. At first, Have A Good Time was only available in Japan, but collaborations with international brands have helped them gain popularity in the streetwear industry. The brand is characterized above all by its distinctive frame logo: a red frame, white background and the words “have a good time” in black lettering. This logo is often printed on T-shirts, accessories, lifestyle items or caps and creates great recognition value. So far, the pieces from Have A Good Time are still very exclusive and difficult to obtain, but as a group of skaters and artists, the founders are exactly in line with the general spirit of the times. A collaboration with skater Jason Dill has consolidated the brand's status in the skate scene.

Have A Good Time has often collaborated with various brands in recent years. As part of these collaborations, they have also added their own charm to some sneakers. For example, in 2018 with Reebok. In February of that year, a small capsule collection was released, which included the “Club C 85" and “Classic Leather” sneaker models. The shoes appeared in black and white and on the toe of each shoe you could see large branding in the classic style of “Have A Good Time.” The sneakers were rounded off with eye-catching red laces. Another Reebok model followed in summer 2019: the “Aztrek”. The outer material features mesh, leather and suede and gives the model a certain depth. The shoe contains shades of gray and white accents. A red “Have A Good Time” lettering is on the side of the left sneaker, while the Reebok branding is on the right shoe.

Another major collaboration took place together with Vans. In addition, the Vans classic “OLD SKOOL” was also provided with the big Have A Good Time logo. The shoe is white and stands out due to the red accents. A collection with Vans and BEAMS, a Japanese brand, created the Vans “Slip-On” model. This sneaker was also similar to the previous Vans collaboration with the colors white and red.

One of the latest releases is a sneaker that was designed together with Fila and was released in the same style as the Vans and Reebok models. The sneaker is black and has the words “Have a Fila time” on the side. Have A Good Time also recently reissued the adidas Gazelle in collaboration with adidas. The model is a bit simpler, light blue and has a black three-stripe logo on the side. Only the inner lining of the shoe has the “Have A Good Time” logo and the lettering is on the side.

Have A Good Time embodies a relaxed lifestyle and the pieces they release match the brand name. The styles are spontaneous and look “homemade”. The brand creates clothes and shoes that radiate a positive attitude towards life and invite you to simply have a good time.
