Following its Paris Fashion Week debut in Summer 2025, the Mizuno Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo returns for SS26 in a fully metallic silver upper.

The model combines two core Mizuno silhouettes: the Morelia football boot, first introduced in 1985, and the Wave Prophecy, launched in 2011 with its distinctive Infinity Wave construction.

The hybrid pairs the Morelia’s classic boot aesthetic with the Wave Prophecy X’s structural tooling, bridging the pitch and the street.

The synthetic leather upper retains the traditional football boot silhouette, while the aerodynamically constructed Wave Plate delivers stability and cushioning.

The performance roots remain intact, reworked for a lifestyle context.

The campaign was created in Naples under the creative direction of Samir Bertoli, in collaboration with Brazilian agency Buena Onda and Naples-born photographer Glauco Canalis.

Their concept, “Hope In The Youth,” looks at the sense of connection that grows from a shared passion for sportstyle, seen through the eyes of a young woman who receives a new pair of Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo.

In the streets of Naples, a fisherman gifts the silhouette to his daughter. The moment speaks to sacrifice and pride, and to what could be possible ahead.

She is told to take care of them, yet she soon wears them as intended: running through the city, weaving through narrow alleys on a scooter and, of course, playing football. The pair becomes part of her everyday life, echoing the title’s idea of hope in youth.

The Mizuno Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo will release on February 27 and will be available at the following retailers: AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN, HHV and SUPPA.
