Saucony and Distance have joined forces to create an exclusive edition of the Endorphin Speed 5 that brings together the best of running, art, and community.

Inspired by the vibrant work of Italian designer Ettore Sottsass, the design embodies movement, passion, and creative freedom. The result is a dynamic aesthetic with bold accents that captures the energy of running—even beyond the track.

The shoe comes in custom-designed packaging featuring co-branding on the box and shoe bag, neon details, and distinctive messages such as “FOR ALL RUNNERS” — a tribute to the shared DNA of Saucony and Distance.

“This collaboration allowed us to merge our passion for running with art and design — and to create a shoe that is truly made for all runners.”

During the launch weekend, the Le Relais Distance x Saucony pop-up in Paris transformed into a hybrid space between sports café and running store.

Across roughly 80 square meters, visitors could preview and purchase the Endorphin Speed 5 Distance ahead of its official release, immerse themselves in a sport-inspired, art-driven scenography, and pick up limited-edition collectibles — from T-shirts and postcards to glasses and cubes.

The progressive design incorporates Saucony’s advanced running technology: the responsive PWRRUN PB cushioning delivers efficient energy return, while a winged nylon plate ensures the perfect balance of flexibility and stability.

The signature SPEEDROLL geometry promotes a natural forward motion, while the reinforced rubber outsole and breathable mesh upper deliver a balance of comfort and durability.

With an 8 mm drop and a weight of 238 g (men) / 229 g (women), the Endorphin Speed 5 Distance is perfectly suited for tempo runs and race days.

The Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 Distance is now available at selected retailers such as AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN and HHV.
