The ILARGI FF II marks the latest chapter in the collaboration between Kiko Kostadinov Studio and ASICS SportStyle, once again drawing on an unconventional tabi silhouette from the ASICS archive.

While the original ILARGI FF drew inspiration from a 1953 marathon tabi, the second iteration is based on an archival model worn by astronauts as part of a space training program, according to ASICS.

This reinterpretation retains the signature split-toe construction while introducing a chunkier sole unit and a more voluminous overall shape, significantly evolving Kiko Kostadinov Studio’s original concept.

The midsole features FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, combining soft comfort with a responsive feel to make the ILARGI FF II well suited to everyday wear.

The upper combines sleek mesh with bold graphic patterns that reinforce Kiko Kostadinov’s signature design language and add visual depth to the technical silhouette.

The ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov Studio ILARGI FF II releases on July 24, 2026, and will be available at select retailers such as AFEW-Store and BSTN.
