The ILARGI FF II continues the collaboration between the Kiko Kostadinov Studio and ASICS SportStyle, once again drawing on an unusual Tabi silhouette from the ASICS archives.
While the first ILARGI FF was inspired by a marathon Tabi from 1953, the second version, according to ASICS, is based on an archive model worn by astronauts as part of a space training program.
This reinterpretation retains the characteristic split-toe construction but combines it with a sturdier outsole and an overall more voluminous silhouette. In doing so, the Kiko Kostadinov Studio significantly advances the concept of its predecessor.
The midsole features FF BLAST PLUS technology. The cushioning is designed to combine soft comfort with a responsive ride, making the ILARGI FF II more suitable for everyday use.
The upper combines clean mesh with striking graphic patterns. These emphasize Kiko Kostadinov’s signature design language and lend the technical silhouette additional visual depth.
The ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov Studio ILARGI FF II will be released on July 24, 2026, and will be available at select retailers such as AFEW-Store and BSTN.
