With the MT10T V1, Tokyo Design Studio from New Balance presents a concept that brings together minimalist design, natural freedom of movement and aesthetic cues from smart slip-on silhouettes.
The mix of moccasins, ballerinas, loafers and Mary Janes creates a design language rarely seen in the performance space, while deliberately blurring the line between sportswear and casual footwear — an approach that gives the MT10T its unmistakable visual identity.

The MT10T is built on a pared-back construction with a low, yet technically informed platform. Its distinctive rounded lug outsole delivers multi-directional traction, while the rubber mudguard adds stability and introduces a subtle trail-inspired character.
The setup is completed by a Vibram outsole engineered for reliable grip, adding functional depth to the shoe’s minimalist design.

The unlined nubuck upper is deliberately kept soft and flexible, encouraging natural foot movement and reinforcing the model’s low-profile concept.
A small toggle-lace detail subtly echoes the smart-casual inspirations behind the design.

The model is released in two colorways:
Raw Leather/Black Cement (MT10TOK2) and NB Navy/Black Cement (MT10TOK4) — both understated, functional, and characteristic of Tokyo Design Studio’s clean, reductionist design language.
