For the fall/winter 2023 collection, which was developed by adidas archivist and SPEZIAL founder Gary Aspden, the brand is dedicated to developing well-known styles.

The shoe collection consists of seven silhouettes. The Moscrop 2 SPZL is a revised version of the Moscrop SPZL from 2022.

It comes in a light gray shade with a change in the outer material that is reminiscent of the Argentinean adidas Infinity.

‍

‍

Another SPEZIAL classic that returns is the winter-ready Hiaven SPZL in a monochrome black color palette with an Adi-Tex membrane.

The Hiaven SPZL is inspired by a training shoe from the 1970s, which was originally manufactured in Eastern Europe and features decorative stitching.

‍

‍

The Samba Deco SPZL is available in two colors: In black and green as an homage to a soccer boot from the 1980s and in brown and white as a reminder of an original color scheme from the seventies.

‍

‍

The Inverness SPZL is a development of the Carnforth SPZL and combines outdoor and leisure. It comes in a dark brown color scheme and matches the Haslingden jacket, which is also part of the collection.

‍

‍

In addition to the outdoor silhouette, there is the Englewood SPZL: a low-top court shoe with Campus 80s tooling that reinvents the Galaxy II high-top from the late 80s.

‍

‍

The Lawkholme SPZL deconstructs the aesthetics of running shoes from the eighties, similar to the old adidas Zaza, through subtle branding and a neutral color palette.

‍

‍

The collection includes not only shoes, but also clothing and accessories, with a focus on the use of recycled materials.

The collection is led by the Haslingden jacket

‍

‍

and the Moorfield anorak.

‍

‍

Both jackets can be used with the Topfield liner and have Mod Trefoil branding on the back.

‍

‍

‍

The Haslingden receives a dark brown color update, while the Moorfield Anorak features contrasting color blocks in green orbit and a durable, water-repellent surface.

‍

In typical SPEZIAL fashion, the collection also offers a special tracksuit - the Sudell TT and

‍

TP with an extended version of the classic Mod Trefoil logo, which is reflected in the mountain logo.

‍

The adidas SPEZIAL Fall/Winter 2023 collection was presented with a campaign film that accompanies soccer player Roy Keane on a walk with his dog “Jet” at the lake.

‍

‍

The film is a personal portrait of one of the most famous soccer personalities and shows not only the expert and player, but also the person behind them.

Parallel to the film, there are a series of photos taken by long-time adidas SPEZIAL employee Kevin Cummins, which showcase the collection against the backdrop of modern architecture and the impressive natural landscape of the Lake District.

The latest adidas SPEZIAL collection will be available in limited quantities from November 16 at 43einhalb, AFEW Store, Allike, Asphaltgold, HHV and SUPPA.
