Babenzien, formerly the Creative Director of Supreme, sought to create an alternative to the fast-paced streetwear industry—blending classic menswear aesthetics with the rebellious attitude of skate, surf, and punk culture. The brand's goal is to craft clothing that is not only stylish but also durable, lasting well beyond fleeting trends.
Noah offers a diverse range of products, including swimwear, hoodies, shirts, trousers, beanies, surfwear, shoes, sunglasses, and lifestyle goods. A key characteristic is the balance between classic tailoring and sporty elements, often complemented by bold patterns or maritime influences. The brand’s logo, a minimalist red cross, aligns with its clean and distinctive aesthetic. Noah’s pieces vary widely—some are minimalist and understated, while others feature vibrant prints. Despite this variety, the brand's deep connection to streetwear culture remains evident throughout its collections.
Sustainability is at the core of Noah’s philosophy. The brand prioritizes ethical production practices and uses high-quality materials such as Japanese selvedge denim, recycled wool, and organic cotton. Since 2019, Noah has supported the "1% for the Planet" initiative, donating regularly to environmental organizations while also advocating for social and political causes, including cancer awareness and animal rights. Unlike many streetwear brands, Noah actively leverages its platform to raise awareness about social injustices. Campaigns against environmental destruction, racism, and overconsumption are integral to its brand messaging.
The founders of Noah view their brand as more than just a fashion label—it is a movement driven by a clear set of principles. On their website, they state: "We believe in doing things our own way, with conviction, according to principles we determine ourselves. That’s the definition of punk rock to us (...)." This ethos is reflected in their commitment to durable materials and responsible manufacturing.
Noah has collaborated with a variety of brands. One of its most notable and ongoing partnerships is with adidas. In 2022, the two brands released a summer collection that included apparel and sneakers, featuring a reinterpretation of the classic adidas "Adria" model in “Core White” and “Golden Beige.” Both versions were crafted from recycled canvas and included minimalistic NOAH x adidas branding along with a textured rubber sole. In the fall of 2021, Noah and adidas had previously launched a running-inspired capsule collection, drawing from Brendon Babenzien’s passion for the sport. This collection introduced two silhouettes: the Noah Lab Race, a high-performance running shoe featuring a mesh upper with suede overlays, and the Noah Vintage Runner, inspired by 1980s track spike designs.
Vans is another frequent collaboration partner. In 2022, Noah and Vans unveiled three versions of the classic Slip-On in green, black, and blue/red, featuring distressed suede and bold contrast stitching. In 2021, the brand also launched a capsule collection with Vans that included two versions of the Caballero VLT LX and three colorways of the Authentic One Piece LX.
Another key partnership is with PUMA. In June 2023, Noah and PUMA debuted their first collaboration, spotlighting the PUMA Star—a revival of the PUMA Wimbledon silhouette from the 1970s. The collection emphasized premium materials and a design that bridged sport and style. The collaboration continued in June 2024 with a collection inspired by classic varsity sportswear. A standout piece was the Japan-made PUMA Suede in a muted brown shade, featuring Noah’s cross logo and a premium leather lining. Additionally, the PUMA Star was reworked with a textile upper and a contrasting leather Formstrip.
In fall 2024, the two brands introduced another collection, this time inspired by New York’s appreciation for outdoor wear. The release featured high-top and low-top hiking boots, equipped with GORE-TEX for weather resistance, as well as a refreshed Suede Classic model. The collection reflected the way New Yorkers integrate durable, performance-driven clothing into their urban lifestyle.
Beyond sneaker collaborations, Noah has partnered with Barbour, Timex, and Vuarnet. With Barbour, the brand reimagined classic outerwear silhouettes, merging Noah’s urban aesthetic with British heritage craftsmanship. The collaboration with Timex resulted in the "Moon Phase Watch," which elegantly tracks the lunar cycle. Meanwhile, the partnership with Vuarnet produced sunglasses that combined performance with contemporary design.
One of Noah’s most notable capsules was the Jimi Hendrix tribute collection, honoring the music and cultural icon. The collection featured vintage-inspired graphics and references to Hendrix’s artistic influence on fashion and society.
Noah is available in select retailers worldwide. The brand operates flagship stores in New York, Tokyo, and Osaka. Additionally, its collections can be purchased through its official online store and select high-end retailers, including Dover Street Market.
Noah represents a new wave of streetwear—one that merges sustainability, social consciousness, and thoughtful design. The brand proves that streetwear is more than just hype—it can also embody a meaningful message.
