Vans and Gallery Dept. present an exclusive collaboration on the Authentic 44 via OTW by Vans.

Inspired by the atmosphere of an artist’s studio, the project blends creative spontaneity with classic shoemaking craftsmanship.

Each pair features a deliberately irregular, hand-painted look, as if it were created in the midst of work in the studio.

Paint drips flow across the toe cap, while subtle smudges and studio-like wear marks on the vamp and sidewalls add depth and character.

The clean quarter panels and heel serve as a quiet backdrop, drawing attention to the artistic treatment of the upper.

The collection embraces the beauty of the unplanned and the spontaneity of the creative process. The “Art That Kills” lettering along the sidewall echoes the raw, studio-born character of the design.
