With the GEL-KINETIC FR, ASICS once again looks to its running archive from the early 2000s for inspiration.

The new silhouette takes cues from the GEL-FRANTIC, reinterpreting its sleek, dynamic design language and combining it with modern technologies.

Visually, the model retains the relatively slim, low-profile character of its archival reference, while a more sculpted construction gives it a distinctly contemporary look.

A thicker sockliner construction provides additional cushioning and promotes smoother transitions.

Underfoot, Scutoid GEL pods are informed by ASICS research into walking motion and are designed to absorb impact with every step. The construction is complemented by a reinforced TPU cage that provides additional stability and support.

The ASICS GEL-KINETIC FR releases on August 21st and will be available at select retailers such as AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN, HHV and SUPPA.
