Saucony and New York-based menswear brand 3sixteen continue their collaboration with two new interpretations of the ProGrid Guide 7.
For this project, both partners draw inspiration from an unexpected source: the aesthetics of early computer hardware.

The two colorways translate the visual language of vintage computers onto the technical running silhouette, blending retro references with a clean, modern aesthetic.

Both versions combine premium materials such as suede, mesh and nubuck on the upper. Reflective details add visibility, while vintage-style tongues reinforce the retro character of the silhouette.
The concept is rounded out by specially designed boxes that reference the collaboration’s computer-inspired theme.

The release also comes with two pairs of laces featuring reflective details. A co-branded 3sixteen x Saucony logo appears on the inside of the shoe, while an embossed 3sixteen logo is placed on the heel.

3sixteen was founded in New York in 2003 and is best known for its high-quality selvedge denim and timeless wardrobe staples.
The brand works with partners such as Japan’s Kuroki Mills to develop its own fabrics, which are then cut and produced in the USA.
The focus is on durable materials, understated design and garments that develop more character over time.
In keeping with the concept, there is also an installation guide for the Saucony x 3sixteen ProGrid Guide 7:
