In collaboration with Palomo Spain, PUMA is presenting a new gender-neutral collection that celebrates queer identities, the sports culture of the 80s, the splendor of the 1970s rollerdisco and combines the elegant essence of Palomo with PUMA's sportswear tradition.
Inspired by the nostalgic appeal of a sports legend from the 1970s, the latest campaign by PUMA and Palomo offers a glimpse behind the scenes of an advertising shoot.
Set within a studio reminiscent of Hollywood's golden era, the backdrop merges seamlessly with the narrative. Bathed in perfect lighting, models exude effortless charm as they rehearse their movements gracefully juxtaposed against the shadowy figures of the production staff.
The collection embodies a mix of retro flair and modern elements with high-quality fabrics, distinctive logos and decorative stitching, and a rich color palette of warm tones. The most important pieces include the hybrid Nitefox loafer and a new version of the classic Palermo silhouette.
The PUMA and Palomo clothing range starts with the T7 Track Jacket and Track Pants in Warm White and Teak, which are made from a high-quality jacquard knit fabric that is reminiscent of previous PUMA x Palomo collaborations.
The matching top and shorts are carefully crafted using modern manufacturing methods and feature a unique pattern that is reminiscent of traditional crafting techniques.
The baby tea in the collection is made from a supple French terry material, while the exclusive graphic tees feature a crest created by PUMA and Palomo.
“I'm really excited about the knitwear. I love a white look. I think youcan look like the smartest and most elegant version of yourself whenyou're fully dressed in white. The long pants and long-sleevedknitted tracksuit are delicious,” said Alejandro Gómez Palomo, founder and creative director of Palomo Spain.
When it comes to shoes, PUMA and Palomo have reinterpreted Palermo with asymmetrical color blocking in a coordinated shade of red. The collection also features a redesigned version of Nitefox, which has now been converted into the Nitefox Loafer.
This design combines a chunky sole with a traditional loafer upper decorated with tassel details and an elegant silver logo buckle.
In the accessories, the visor continues the collection's tennis theme, while the clutch reproduces the Puma and Palomo knitting pattern in a passion fruit tone, while the grip bag is presented in white with silver hardware.
