More than 40 years after release and reintroduction with Aimé Leon Dore in September 2023, New Balance brings back the T500. The new edition of the classic is an homage to the heritage of the shoe and to a modern take on the “Quite Luxury” style.

First released in 1982, the T500 celebrates the early 80s tennis style with high-quality workmanship and timeless design.

For its original release, the T500 was developed with the aim not only to enable top performance on the court, but also to embody the elegant spirit of tennis off the court.

The same attributes that characterized the shoe in 1982 make it a timeless classic even today.

With the new edition of the shoe, this tradition is continued and developed. In particular, there was a strong focus on premium materials and workmanship: The new suede and nubuck upper, complemented by perforated details, refines the already familiar look of the original T500.

The polyurethane midsole is a noticeable contrast to the vulcanized sole of older models. The stylish 80s design of the shoe is rounded off by the predominantly white color scheme.

To celebrate the relaunch of the T500, New Balance is releasing the campaign film “Quiet Please”. An ode to the tennis roots of the silhouette.

Directed by Francis Plummer and starring Chris Cadaver, the clip re-introduces the T500 using a luxurious set design paired with the charm known from New Balance.

The T500 will be available from March 14 via 43einhalb, AFEW Store, Asphaltgold, HHV, SUPPA and VOOstore.
