Skill over status. Individuality over conformity. Expression over everything. With this mindset, Nike and Martine Rose unveil the latest chapter of their long-standing partnership: an expressive collection of apparel, footwear and accessories that celebrates esports and gaming culture.
The Nike x Martine Rose Sport Collection channels the democratic spirit of gaming — a world where everyone can play, connect and belong, with no borders between athletes and gamers. It highlights how diverse sport can be today — and who it represents.

“Gaming is a new lens into how we view sport, and I want to help expand that lens,” says Martine. “I’ve always been interested in finding the corners of mainstream cultures and shining a light on them through fashion, and this collaboration with Nike offers a unique opportunity to do that in a way that’s authentic to gamers and their communities.”

The collection celebrates gamers as heroes of a modern arena defined by precision, focus and creativity — continuing the shared design DNA of Nike and Martine Rose, who have been pushing the boundaries of convention for eight years.

Inspired by the energy of 1990s LAN parties — in-person gaming gatherings — the collection blurs the boundaries between sport, gaming and streetwear.
Rooted in athletic heritage and informed by gaming culture, it features a range of silhouettes designed for the modern athlete: connected, competitive and boldly expressive.

The relaxed, functional pieces include football kits, hoodies, shorts and fleece pants. A water-repellent, sweat-wicking ski parka reimagines a 1990s ACG jacket, while a versatile crossbody bag is designed to keep essentials close at hand.
The latest iteration of the Martine Rose Shox MR4 — a fresh take on the iconic Shox R4 that transforms its distinctive proportions into a mule silhouette with a raised heel and squared toe — represents a sophisticated fusion of sport and elegance, bridging sneaker and dress shoe aesthetics.

“The world of competitive gaming informed every aspect of our new collection,” says Martine. “As with any sport uniform, each piece is fit for purpose and has to suit the task.
This apparel line is all about comfort, mobility and flexibility. We really wanted the collection to have this relaxed mood both inspired by gamers and made for the way they compete.”

The campaign draws on Martine’s long-standing fascination with the intersection of sport, identity and culture — presenting a cast of elite gamers as digital athletes.
The skill and intensity of Ana, Billy Mitchell, Scarlett, SonicFox and TenZ take center stage in visuals that nod to classic Nike ads featuring the sporting icons of their era.
The Nike x Martine Rose Sport Collection will be released on October 30 and will then be available at select retailers. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Releases page for updates.
