Maharishi's latest collection continues the everlasting exploration of duality and pacifist military design, combining Eastern and Western influences in a range of silhouettes, including the signature kimonos, pants, and variations of functional outerwear.

Duality is a central aspect of Maharishi's creative ethos, which is often represented by representations of yin and yang.

The idea of two opposing forces that find balance in an infinite back and forth and at the same time complement and contradict each other while connecting with the natural world is represented by the Panther-Chimera artwork.

Each of the two halves represents a starting point for changes that constantly pursue their counterpart in a never-ending search for balance.

The pacifist view of military design is a central theme of the collection. The Pax Cultura and the Dove of Peace, two traditional peace symbols, are embroidered by hand on typical Maharishi styles such as the original Snopants.

In addition, variants of upcycled military clothing, a permanent feature in Maharishi's seasonal collections, reinforce this peaceful perspective by reusing surplus for sustainable and pacifist purposes.

The collection also includes the new seasonal DPM: Reflective Sparse Bonsai, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the release of the DPM Encyclopedia by Maharishi founder Hardy Blechman — an in-depth exploration of camouflage as an artistic form.

It is an updated version of the original Maharishi pattern DPM: Bonsai Forest, developed in 1999 and depicts symbols of peace and nature such as bonsai trees growing from heavenly clouds.

The DPM patterns are an important part of Maharishi's engagement with the topic of camouflage. They serve to extract the identity of camouflage from military use and to remind us of their peaceful origins in art and nature.

Seasonal fabrics in Great Britain include woven herringbone wool, Japanese recycled nylon and branded raw materials such as sustainable hemp and organic cotton, while some designs emphasize utility through modular elements and built-in functional features. The collection will be released later this month.
