At the end of their highly anticipated trilogy, ASICS and HAL STUDIOS present the third part of their collaboration with the GEL-1130TM MK III “GLACIER”.
Building on ongoing discussions and cooperation between the two collaboration partners, the theme of inspiration from the natural world is being revisited.
The GEL-1130TM MK III “GLACIER” is based on the rugged and fascinating landscapes of glaciers.
From the unforgiving landscapes and majestic mountain ranges to the contrasting elements of black sand beaches, snow, ice and tranquil water valleys, they served as inspiration for the design.
Collaboration celebrates ASICS' advanced technology combined with the HAL STUDIOS “Design Thinking” ideology.
The GEL-1130TM MK III “GLACIER” follows the approach of previous versions and continues the ethos of maximum minimalism by reducing the usual features and aesthetics of a traditional sports shoe.
Instead, the design accentuates the retro-futuristic shape and shape of the archived running silhouette by combining contrasting textures and tones.
ASICS x HAL STUDIOS GEL-1130TM MK III “GLACIER” is now available at select retailers like AFEW-Store, Asphaltgold and HHV.
