“I wanted the shoe to be utilitarian, with sublime elements and fashion influences, but ultimately to be a great skate shoe. The overlays with the toe cap form three layers, so it takes a long time for them to wear out. The triple seams in the toe area really add to the durability. I wanted the shoe to last a long time but also to run well right away, and this new Vulc Cup combination is perfect for that. It's everything I've dreamed of in a shoe. I'm really proud of him.”
