After adidas Originals and the Montreal-based design studio JJJJound launched two collaboration colorways of the timeless Samba sneaker earlier this year, they are now presenting their latest collection.
‍
‍
Inspired by the sporting heritage of the Three Stripes and driven by a commitment to authentic storytelling, the second adidas Originals by JJJJound collection picks up on the aesthetics of soccer with a 7-piece range of clothing, accessories and shoes.
‍
‍
The selection of clothing and accessories is high-quality and skilfully designed and includes a completely black training top and matching training pants,
‍
‍
a matching white jersey and a black airliner bag as well as a co-branded soccer and bag set. You can find detailed photos below.
‍
‍
The collection is rounded off by a new take on the classic Samba sneaker.
The next iteration of JJJJound Samba comes in a khaki version with a hairy suede upper, a matching tongue and a rubber outsole, and features a range of carefully thought-out details, including co-branded sock lining.
Each pair comes in a branded box with JJJJound inlay paper.
‍
‍
The launch of the collection is accompanied by a carefully curated campaign featuring soccer legend José Mourinho. Shot by photographer Liam MacRae against the backdrop of everyday Portuguese life, the José campaign is an ode to the traditional heritage of the Samba in sports and culture.

‍
The second collection from the adidas Originals by JJJJound partnership will be released on June 27 at Asphaltgold. Also keep an eye on our Sneaker Releases.
