With playful design and plenty of creativity, VEJA joins forces with MilK Magazine to explore the world of children. The collaboration introduces two new styles that capture kids’ imagination and translate it into sneakers: the V-90 and the VEJA Baby.

VEJA and MilK unite to bring children’s creativity to life through footwear.

Founded by Isis-Colombe Combréas, MilK has been shaping children’s fashion, family lifestyle and interior design for 20 years — always with a distinctive graphic design and a unique photographic aesthetic.

Children are like little artists: they draw, paint and create their own worlds. VEJA and MilK have captured this creativity by reimagining the V-90 and VEJA Baby.

The V-90 features a playful mix of soft, mismatched shades — reminiscent of the pages of a coloring book. The look is completed with practical Velcro straps, while the model itself is crafted from O.T. (Organic Traced) leather — the softest leather VEJA has used to date.

The VEJA Baby combines warmth and comfort with a fleece lining, suede upper, fine leather sole and yellow laces as a playful detail.

Both styles feature distinctive stitching, while the MilK logo — handwritten on the back of the shoes by Gaspard, the son of one of the magazine’s editors — adds a charming childhood touch.

All VEJA leathers are tanned without harmful chemicals in tanneries awarded “Gold” certification by the Leather Working Group. In addition, all VEJA kids’ styles are Fair Trade certified.

The upper is crafted from Organic Traced leather sourced from certified farms in Uruguay, while the panels are made of suede from Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil.

The V-90 features a recycled polyester lining, whereas the VEJA Baby combines fleece with recycled polyester for added comfort.

The styles are finished with laces made from organic cotton and soles composed of 40% Amazonian rubber and 10% recycled rubber. Both models are produced in Brazil.
