For autumn/winter 2021, the VEJA studio has come up with a new pair of sneakers inspired by the Campo model. Named after “the Venice of Brazil,” Recife is a minimalist style that you can wear on any occasion.

The new model comes onto the market with rectangular Velcro straps and a vulcanized sole made from natural rubber and rice waste, which is 54% biobased and recycled.

The VEJA studio replaced the metal eyelets with embroidered ones. By removing the metal, VEJA makes it easier to recycle the refice when the shoe is no longer wearable.

‍
The Recife model is available in two different versions: the first with an embroidered V and a colored heel and the second in classic shades. The Recife is made from chrome-free leather.
