VEJA is launching its first hiking boot today. The new Fitz Roy style is a technical trekking shoe with a robust and stable sole, thanks to its multi-directional profile and rock plate.
‍
‍
Its 100% recycled polyester Trek-Shell upper is a new material that makes the shoe durable and waterproof.
‍
‍
The densely woven outer material is also treated with a PFC-free, durable water repellent.
‍
‍
There is also a padded and comfortable tongue, an elastic band to hold the laces so they don't get tangled and a wide insole that fits all foot shapes.
‍
‍
The profile of the outsole points in two different directions to provide good grip uphill and downhill.
‍
‍
The Fitz Roy is an homage to the mountain range of the same name.
‍
‍
Hikers from all over the world dream of climbing this famous Patagonian peak on the border between Argentina and Chile.
‍
‍
Described as a “smoking mountain” by the Tehuelche Indians, two French mountaineers succeeded in climbing for the first time in 1952.
‍
‍
The first technical hiking boot from VEJA, the Fitz Roy, is available from today at 43einhalb, AFEW-Store, Asphaltgold and HHV.
