Vans have joined forces once again with Civilist, a cultural cornerstone of the Berlin skate scene, for an elevated take on the classic Skate Authentic.

The collection comprises two designs: a black and white look with Civilists smiley logo on both shoes and a new edition of the iconic checkerboard pattern in the primary colors red, yellow and blue — a nod to the Bauhaus color palette.

The campaign, photographed by Andrew White, shows a specially built 3x3 meter cube installation that merges product, design and space. This concept combines minimalistic design with playful elements.
