Today, Vans picks up on this rich heritage and reinterprets it with the Skate Old Skool 36+ — a modern skate shoe that preserves the classic silhouette and proportions of the original Style 36 while incorporating innovative elements.

The Old Skool 36+ skate combines a padded tongue and a shorter toe box — ideal for today's skaters who value style and function equally. Like the original, the 36+ is specifically designed for skateboarding and comes with all the performance updates found in Skate Old Skool.

These include DuraCap technology, which reinforces heavily stressed areas and makes the shoe particularly durable, as well as the SickStick rubber compound and the classic waffle sole, which provide superior grip and board control.
