PUMA's latest collaboration with Colm Dillane, better known as KidSuper, brings the American designer's creations to life in the form of statement designs and modernized classics.
As with previous collabs, the partnership is inspired by PUMA's soccer tradition and Dillane's lifelong passion for the sport.
The PUMA x KidSuper Sports Club Collection reinterprets PUMA's classics through soccer goggles and brings pastel colors and modern aesthetics to the form and function of sportswear as well as updated versions of the Velophasis and Palermo sneakers.
The distinctive collection with multiple matching outfits is enhanced by garment dyeing, graphic jacquard knitting patterns, graphics inspired by the PUMA King and motifs designed by KidSuper for PUMA.
The cut-and-sewn track jacket and track pants from the collection are available in two color variants with accented color blocking and embroidered details.
The jersey and shorts are jacquard knitted and feature eye-catching graphic elements and a KidSuper Football Club emblem.
The cardigan is made from the same jacquard knit with an all-over print that depicts human facial features, while the longsleeve and skirt are made from a power mesh textile with artwork designed by KidSuper.
The Velophasis Nu and the popular Palermo Nu are modernized and optimised versions of the originals. They feature a high-quality cashmere suede upper, mesh underlays, and custom PUMA and KidSuper Studios logos on the tongue.
The Velophasis Nu features distressed details that give the Y2K-inspired sneaker a pre-worn look.
The modern collection is rounded off by PUMA x KIDSUPER accessories such as a bucket hat,
a duffle bag and a scarf.
The campaign, which features Dillane as the head of the PUMA x KIDSUPER family, brings together a unique cast of characters.
Inspired by the classic gangster films of the 90s, the visualizations show the artistic collection, with a focus on matching tracksuits.
The PUMA x KIDSUPER Sport Club Collection is available at Asphaltgold. A cooperation with PUMA Basketball is to follow in May.
