Puma and Creative Director June Ambrose Launch Their First Joint Collection: “Keeping Score”

PUMA and Creative Director June Ambrose present their first collaborative collection, “Keeping Score.” The new collection pays homage to Ambrose’s career and her influence on hip-hop and fashion, embracing the idea of reflection and encouraging women to document their achievements.

Amid cultural shifts, women on and off the court are becoming increasingly aware of their strength, both as individuals and as a group.

Since joining Puma in 2020 as Creative Director for the women’s basketball category, June has consistently focused on promoting and empowering women, knowing that life is a team sport and that we play together to win.

The 20-piece collection of apparel, sneakers, and accessories will be released in two parts. The first part, which is already available, consists of ten pieces in bold burgundy and blue.

It includes shorts and caps, a removable mesh-jersey sports bra, a balaclava, color-block leggings, and an oversized hoodie, with a focus on combining fashion and functionality.

Highlights include the Hood Hall of Famer T-shirt and the Breakaway maxi-to-midi skirt. The T-shirt features the phrase “Calling All Shots.”

The skirt complements the collection’s versatile styling options. New versions of the classic Ralph Sampson sneaker and the Prevail sneaker will also be featured in this collection.

“Life is a sport.” With the campaign for the new collection in mind, Ambrose wants to encourage women to “compete only against the best versions of themselves; what we give is our reward. Let’s make the most of this year, let the clock run, and keep score.”

From the dominance of streetwear and sneaker culture to hip-hop’s entry into high fashion, June continues to be a role model for women of all generations and underscores the importance of celebrating oneself.

The products will be available at select retailers. Keep an eye on our sneaker release calendar.
