The Oakley Factory Team, the creative laboratory for conceptual design and experimentation led by Brain Dead, is back with a new collection that includes new color variants of the iconic Flesh and Chop Saw sneakers as well as two eyewear models.
For the first of three upcoming drops for FW24, earthy tones come together with hairy suede textures, both for the Flesh, which comes in a Java color scheme with a caviar black, textured mesh collar and a caviar green rubber outsole, and for the Chop Saw with a black-pink front panel and a dark gray mesh lining. Wear them as if you're in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Or a Space Oakley...
Two sunglasses models round off the collection: the legendary Mumbo with its rounded and classic silhouette, which bears the Brain Dead logo and is equipped with two interchangeable lenses - and the avant-garde Eye Jacket, which is definitely more trend-setting with its clear-cut, frameless lenses.
Each sunglasses case contains a Brain Dead 10th anniversary collector coin, which references the traditional Oakley coins that were included in X-Metal releases in the 90s.
The Oakley Factory team is once again exploring technological innovations to create products that are not only durable but also timeless. Although inspiration comes from the past, the future is embedded in every detail of construction and technology.
Future classics. The Oakley Factory Team FW24 (Drop 1) collection is available from September 17 at selected retailers such as AFEW-Store, SUPPA and VooStore.
