As part of this year's “Grey Days” campaign, New Balance is bringing back a silhouette that combines futuristic design language with the familiar vibes of the noughties: the ABZORB 2010.

The New Balance 2010 “Grey Days” (U2010GD) stands out immediately thanks to its distinctive midsole. The slightly yellowed ABZORB sole serves as a subtle vintage reference, adding a worn-in aesthetic that perfectly complements the shoe’s nostalgic tech appeal.
It is not only visually exciting, but also functional: The segmented construction comes from the running archives of the 2000s and has now been reissued in revised proportions.

A diamond-knit mesh upper gives the shoe a modern touch and rounds off the tech look.
The look is rounded out by premium overlays in taupe suede and leather. A shimmering silver mesh base adds visual balance, while reflective “N” logos with cream underlays tie in seamlessly with the midsole and laces. Light blue branding on the reflective tongue adds a subtle finishing touch.

The Arid Stone/Raincloud/Calcium colorway brings together a range of grey tones, subtly balanced to reflect the “Grey Days” aesthetic.
Worn by rapper and New Balance partner Aminé, the ABZORB 2010 blends street credibility with design innovation and a nostalgic nod to early-2000s running. It’s both a statement piece and a journey through time.
‍
The New Balance ABZORB 2010 “Grey Days” (U2010GD) will be released on May 22 and will then be available at the following retailers: 43einhalb, AFEW Store, Asphaltgold, HHV and SUPPA.
