With the ABZORB 2010, New Balance expands the Grey Days 2026 lineup with a new lifestyle runner that combines running references from the 2000s with a futuristic design language.

Instead of relying on classic retro nostalgia, the model delivers a more technical interpretation of early performance silhouettes and further extends the brand’s growing ABZORB family.

‍

‍

Only unveiled at the beginning of 2025, the ABZORB 2010 is one of New Balance’s latest lifestyle silhouettes. The mix of technical running DNA and futuristic design language quickly made the model appealing to partners such as WTAPS, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME and Rich Paul.

A standout feature is the segmented ABZORB sole unit, whose design references various running models from the 2000s. It is complemented by additional ABZORB SBS cushioning in the forefoot and heel, as well as a translucent TPU Stability Web construction at the midfoot for added stability. Reflective details, debossed upper elements and molded “N” logos further emphasize the futuristic aesthetic.

‍

Even from a technical standpoint, the ABZORB 2010 remains firmly rooted in the running world. The ABZORB midsole combines classic cushioning with compression resistance, balancing comfort with a more stable ride.

At the same time, the model draws from the running proportions of that era, reworking them with a far more progressive and exaggerated approach.

The Grey Days campaign features Darius Garland alongside the ABZORB 2010.

The Cleveland Cavaliers guard has been one of the key basketball athletes on New Balance’s roster for several years.

Garland is also featured with the new P400 “Grey Days” as part of the campaign, a basketball performance model that was released a few days ago.
