The model, which impressed for the first time with its innovative transformation of a classic sneaker into a penny loafer, is now given a subtle black/anthracite color scheme that underlines its versatility.

The new version of the 1906 loafer continues to incorporate the characteristic features of the original silhouette: the open-perforated mesh upper, the curved synthetic overlays and the 860v2 sole with ABZORB SBS elements on the heel. These design details provide the proven mix of comfort, functionality and style.

With the color update, the 1906 Loafer remains an all-rounder that fits seamlessly into both sporty and formal looks.

Its development builds on previous New Balance campaigns such as What the Well-Dressed Runner Wears, which focused on the synthesis of sporting function and fashion standards.

The New Balance 1906L will be released on December 4 at Asphaltgold and VooStore.
