Inspired by the long success story of technical innovations in running, KARHU is proud to add a brand-new silhouette from the 2016 archives to the lifestyle collection.

The KARHU Super Fulcrum is a modern retro sneaker based on an earlier prototype with a similar name, the Super Fast.

‍

‍

Although the Super Fast never came out, the concept of a shoe with maximum cushioning and special support and efficiency features was very well received by Karhu's design team.

‍

‍

The newly developed Super Fulcrum combines Super Fast's unique midsole technology with a redesigned upper to provide a truly unique statement sneaker that fits into any shoe collection.

‍

The KARHU Super Fulcrum was brought to life through progressive interpretations of comfort, form and function.

‍

‍

In line with Karhu's current running collection, the Super Fulcrum design provides a sense of forward movement and features a full-length Fulcrum chassis in the midsole, which inspired the name of this shoe.

‍

KARHU's Fulcrum technology works like a cradle, which efficiently guides the foot through the movement, reduces pressure on the heel and uses the body's natural energy to enable smooth rolling.

‍

The Super Fulcrum also features our unique “Finnish Line” guidance technology in the outer material, a supportive band that wraps around the foot and provides additional stability.

‍

‍

The rest of the outer material is multi-dimensional mesh with synthetic covers that provide excellent comfort and breathability.

‍

The Super Fulcrum outsole features a modern version of KARHU's signature T-profile, another design element borrowed from previous models such as the Synchron Classic.
