The HOKA Mach X Caged fuses raw performance with a futuristic aesthetic.
A flow-molded upper sits inside an internal TPU cage with transparent mesh inserts, while sculpted heel elements and reflective hits enhance its bold silhouette.

A highly responsive PEBA foam midsole paired with an energy-returning Pebax plate delivers an explosive ride, further enhanced by the Early Stage MetaRocker for smooth, propulsive forward motion.

A sticky rubber outsole ensures maximum traction for a secure grip.
For the accompanying campaign, HOKA and HHV teamed up with Berlin-based artist and runner Claudia Gillies, who lined up for the Berlin Marathon just days after the shoot.

Her work is defined by bold colors, shifting forms and a visual language that changes depending on perspective.
The same sense of movement also informs her running: during training, Claudia absorbs impressions from her surroundings — color gradients, textures, patterns and symmetries — which later find their way onto the canvas. In her practice, rhythm becomes stimulus, and motion turns into paint.

The interplay of art and sport comes through clearly in the campaign. Photos and a short accompanying documentary (shown at the end of this article) portray Claudia in her Berlin studio, moving between canvases and training sessions.
The result is a vivid depiction of how body and space, speed and expression enter into creative dialogue.

Here, the MACH X CAGED becomes more than just a running shoe; it becomes part of a creative process that pushes boundaries and opens up new perspectives.
In collaboration with HHV, the result is a project that seamlessly merges performance and artistic expression.
