As a tribute to sports and the Samba silhouette, adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams present their new Humanrace collection.
The apparel line combines elements from adidas’ rich soccer heritage and includes knit jerseys, shorts, and ripstop jackets, as well as a new version of the Samba silhouette crafted from high-quality materials.
The colors Night Grey and Cloud White expand the existing adidas x Pharrell color palette with a minimalist take that modernizes the classic Samba for a new generation.
The sneakers are crafted from the finest leather and suede—the tongue material has been reworked into molded leather, and a zigzag stitch has been added to the three stripes, inspired by the original Samba silhouette.
The collection’s apparel is available in timeless colors with striking puff-print details. The Knit Jersey and Knit Long Sleeve Jersey are each available in three colorways—Night Grey, Semi Screaming Green, and Cloud White, as well as Black, Cloud White, and Hazy Orange.
With their timeless colors and classic cuts, the two jerseys evoke the long-standing culture of soccer. The Woven Shorts are crafted from a soft, high-quality woven fabric with a minimalist design and are available in Night Grey, Semi Screaming Green, and Hazy Orange.
The shell jacket and pants—available in Night Grey and Light Yellow—are made from classic ripstop fabric and instantly transport you to the field thanks to their comfortable fit.
In the campaign photographed by Gabriel Moses, the legacy of the Samba sneaker serves as the backdrop for modern athleticwear that’s now also incorporated into fashion and streetwear. Models pose against a textured background, showcasing the collection’s vibrant colors and contrasting with the simple design elements of the soccer jersey.
