Today, adidas Originals and FC Bayern are unveiling the official FC Bayern away jersey for the 2024–25 season, which brings the iconic Trefoil logo back to the field.
The jersey is part of the new adidas away jersey collection for major European clubs: FC Bayern Munich, Arsenal London, Juventus Turin, Manchester United, and Real Madrid.
All away jerseys, developed in close collaboration with the individual clubs, feature the Trefoil logo and are designed to appeal to both soccer fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
The new FC Bayern away jersey combines the iconic red-and-white color palette of the club’s DNA with adidas heritage.
The subtle, tonal all-over diamond pattern and additional details—such as the flat-knit polo collar, the FCB lettering on the back of the neck, and the woven Trefoil logo—complete the look, which makes an impression even off the field.
The jersey’s relaxed, straight cut stands out from the athletic, extended hem of the home and away jerseys. In addition to the jersey, there will also be a lifestyle capsule collection consisting of a hoodie, a sweater, a T-shirt, a tracksuit, and a long-sleeved version of the jersey.
The items are also embellished with the adidas Originals Trefoil and reflect the fusion of fashion and soccer.
Over the past few decades, the Trefoil has become a symbol of modern street style and, since 2000, has been used exclusively for adidas Originals collections and for limited-edition jerseys worn off the field.
To mark the brand’s 75th anniversary in 2025, adidas is now bringing the Trefoil back onto the field.
This move not only honors its significance in the history of sports but also recognizes the growing role of fashion in today’s soccer.
The adidas Originals x FC Bayern jersey and the accompanying lifestyle capsule collection are available at select adidas stores. Items in the lifestyle capsule collection are priced between 50 and 110 EUR; the jersey is available for 100 EUR, and the Authentic jersey version worn by the professional players is available for 150 EUR.
The jersey will be worn for the first time on August 20 by the FC Bayern women’s team in their match against Juventus Turin and on September 1 by the FC Bayern men’s team in their match against SC Freiburg.
To celebrate the unveiling of the FC Bayern 2024/25 alternate jersey, adidas Originals and FC Bayern are hosting a joint event for the lifestyle fan community on August 17 at the Paulaner Bräuhaus (Kapuzinerpl. 5) in Munich.
In addition to local musicians and Bavarian-inspired culinary offerings, fashion-conscious guests will have the opportunity to customize their away jerseys (guests can either bring their own jerseys or purchase them on-site).
