adidas Originals brings together the Stan Smith and the Blue Version apparel line to create a new generation of court classics.
In Spring/Summer 2023, adidas Originals combines its latest iterations of the Stan Smith silhouette with its premium Blue Version apparel line.
The result: a reborn fashion icon seen through the lens of the brand’s most aesthetically daring apparel collection.
The new collection features several new iterations of the original court sneaker: The Stan Smith Millencon reimagines the timeless silhouette with fluid lines and new dimensions, while the Trefoil logo on the heel creates an eye-catching look.
The Stan Smith Relasted, on the other hand, features a simple and clean look with smooth, folded edges and minimal branding, as well as a leather upper
set atop a chunkier natural rubber midsole.
Highlights of the new Blue Version apparel collection, inspired by 1970s nightclubs, include: a sequin-embellished training top and matching shorts, a sequin-embellished bodysuit inspired by adidas’s signature Santiago cut lines, and a bold biker jacket.
The now-iconic “Bluebird” also returns as the central element of the collection’s color scheme, this time paired with vibrant shades of red, black, and white.
The collection is accompanied by a campaign that adidas Originals shot at a retro-inspired, historic hotel.
Photographed by Anton Gottlob, the dynamic images break with the status quo and challenge conventional notions of exclusivity by juxtaposing traditional luxury settings with playful poses.
