The adidas “Club Originals” campaign celebrates Berlin’s creative scene with communities, artists, and partners

Last Thursday, adidas Originals brought the “Club Originals” campaign to the Trauma Bar and Kino in Berlin and celebrated with over 500 guests—creatives from the worlds of music, art, style, and movement.

As part of the Y2K-inspired event, the brand—true to the campaign’s concept—collaborated with various local communities, artists, and partners from Berlin’s cultural scene:

Berlin-based artist Gerrit Jacob created custom versions of the Rivalry, the Gazelle, and the Superstar exclusively for the “Club Originals” event. A limited number of these products were raffled off during the evening.

The music collective Club Heart Broken was responsible for the evening’s performances and curated the music lineup featuring young and up-and-coming DJs (DJ Heartstring, DJ Daddy Trance, 0megavibe, Surf 2 Glory, Sedaction).

For the look and feel of the creative content and materials for the event, adidas Originals teamed up with the internet-based art collective Clusterduck.

The Berlin-based collective So Extra guided guests through the evening and the various on-site activities.

Local hair and makeup artist Janina Zais ran the “Club Originals” spa, a 2000s-inspired beauty salon where guests could get a full Y2K makeover, including specially designed “Club Originals” tattoos by the young Berlin-based tattoo artist Lillith 44.

Here’s a selection of photos from the event...
