Today, adidas Originals is unveiling its new “THE ORIGINAL” brand campaign for Spring/Summer 2025—a campaign based on the belief that revolutionary change begins with a single person.

With this campaign, the brand with the three stripes is shifting its focus for the coming season not only to recognizing its cultural legacy but also to inspiring future generations.

The campaign centers on the iconic franchises that have been worn over time by the “Originals” and thousands of people across various cultural movements: the low-profile silhouettes Japan, Tokyo, and Taekwondo; the Superstar II; the Handball Spezial; and the Samba OG.

For the new campaign, adidas Originals has teamed up with renowned director Thibaut Grevet, whose distinctive visual style has shaped the cultural landscape through his work.

Like the “Originals” themselves, he navigates the intersection of sports, music, and fashion in equal measure.

His work, much like the iconic adidas Originals silhouettes, combines vision, craftsmanship, and a clear commitment to authenticity.

Grevet brings his unmistakable style to the campaign in an atmospheric short film that captures the essence of originality.

Through his lens, the audience experiences the dynamism of those who have inspired thousands to follow in their footsteps—told through sophisticated juxtapositions where the energy of the crowd sets the stage as we experience each “Original” in their own setting.

The campaign film is accompanied by the fitting soundtrack “Only You (And You Alone)” by The Platters.
