OTTO958 continues its collaboration with ASICS and presents the latest result of their partnership with the PROTOBLAST-CMLVIII. The first collaboration between the two brands in September 2023, the ASICS x OTTO958 Gel-Flexkee Pro, caused a stir and remains a highlight to this day.

The new PROTOBLAST-CMLVIII brings back design elements from the ASICS archive and reinterprets them in a contemporary way. The distinctive, raised embroidered “O” logo of OTTO958 is prominently placed on the toe box, while the full logo adorns the side panels as flat embroidery.

The construction combines reworked underlays with high-quality leather overlays, while retaining the characteristic GEL-100 design details in the midfoot area and along the lacing.

The midsole and toe box design is inspired by the GELBURST and GELHOOP 6 basketball shoes, while the cushioning is taken from the NOVABLAST 2 running series and recalibrated for everyday use.

The FLYTEFOAM Blast technology ensures a comfortable fit and optimal comfort.

A few weeks ago, the ASICS x OTTO958 PROTOBLAST-CMLVIII debuted in Graphite Grey/Forest — now, the latest edition in Brown/Pure Gold is set to launch on March 13 at AFEW Store, Asphaltgold and VooStore.
