VEJA is partnering with CFCL (Clothing For Contemporary Life) for the first time.

The Japanese brand is known for its innovative approach to 3D knitwear, produced with cutting-edge technology and more sustainable materials. Designed as an “everyday tool,” CFCL’s knitwear stands for functional, responsible fashion.

This vision aligns with VEJA’s: the collaboration grew out of a shared mindset between two B Corp-certified companies committed to building products with the highest possible level of supply chain transparency.

The reinterpreted V-90

For this collaboration, the V-90 is reimagined through CFCL’s lens, taking a radically minimalist approach. The laces disappear behind hidden eyelets, while subtle VEJA and CFCL logos appear on the front and back tabs.

The upper strips back every non-essential detail, putting the materials clearly in focus. The V-90 comes in two colorways: Off-White with “Stone” and “Limestone” tones, finished with reflective details, and Deep Black with Light Blue accents, one of CFCL’s signature cues.

NOLYN is VEJA’s modern take on nylon. While maintaining the same performance properties, the material has been reworked with a more responsible approach and is made from 54% polyester and 46% recycled polyester.

The result is the same durability and texture, with a stronger focus on responsible sourcing. On the upper, Nolyn (54% polyester, 46% recycled polyester) is paired with Organic Traced leather (O.T.).

The insole combines Amazonian rubber (12%) with bio-based E.V.A. (61%, including 49% sugar cane) and organic cotton (18%).

The outsole uses Amazonian rubber (50%) and mineral silica (26%).

Laces and lining are both made from 100% recycled polyester. The shoe is produced in Brazil.

The box was also created specifically for the drop. The V-90 x CFCL packaging is based on pattern-making templates, features gradient effects reminiscent of woven structures, and positions both brands’ logos with particular precision.

The first pairs will debut at the CFCL Runway Show in September 2025, with the drop available from January 22, 2026.
