Vault by Vans and Shane Gonzales are unveiling their first collaborative footwear collection, "Star Spangled Glamour."

The collaboration features three Vault by Vans silhouettes—the Old Skool VLT LX, the Authentic Zip VLT LX, and the Sk8-Hi Reissue Strap VLT LX—infused with Gonzales’ rock ’n’ roll vibe.

The collaboration showcases timeless All-American motifs and draws inspiration from styles such as cowboy boots, denim jeans, and leather jackets.

Featuring chrome, leather, and denim, the collection pays homage to classic fashion,

that has defined Sunset Boulevard, the legendary street in Hollywood.

The black leather Old Skool VLT LX sneakers feature Western cowboy embroidery that creates a high-contrast, multidimensional aesthetic that is both modern and nostalgic.

The Authentic Zip VLT LX is reimagined in classic blue denim with hidden laces and chrome-plated details,

while the black leather Sk8-Hi Reissue Strap VLT LX features several Riders Jacket details, such as a collar, epaulets, and buckles.

“For me, this Vans collaboration brings things full circle. My friends and I grew up skating to and from school in Vans every day. We drew on them and wore them until they were no longer wearable.

For this collection, I’ve reinterpreted the three Vans silhouettes from my childhood and incorporated timeless and American motifs into the design,” says Shane Gonzales.
Vault by Vans x Shane Gonzales drops this month. We’ll keep you updated. Please also keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Calendar.

About Shane Gonzales
Shane Gonzales is a multi-book-author creative who has been recognized as a cultural leader by Forbes 30 Under 30 and Hypebeast 100.
Born and raised in Southern California, Shane quickly immersed himself in the Los Angeles skateboarding and music scenes. Since relaunching his brand in 2022, he has enjoyed success and is worn by celebrities such as Madonna, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Cindy Crawford, Pete Davidson, Lenny Kravitz, Jordan Peele, and others.
