Nike and One Piece are teaming up for a collaborative collection that blends the world of the manga franchise with sports. In addition to three Air Max Plus models, the release includes jerseys, T-shirts, caps, and a vest.

The focus is on the Devil Fruits from One Piece, which grant their owners extraordinary abilities. The Gomu Gomu no Mi, Ope Ope no Mi, and Mera Mera no Mi each serve as inspiration for one of the three Air Max Plus designs. All models feature completely redesigned uppers created exclusively for the collection.
“We drew inspiration from the superhuman abilities unleashed when characters from One Piece eat the Devil Fruits,” explains Nick Remlinger, GM of Energy Gaming at Nike. This gave rise to the idea of reinterpreting the Air Max Plus in a way never seen before.
To complement the sneakers, jerseys and caps featuring influences from the Nike archive are being released. T-shirts incorporate Monkey D. Luffy’s Jolly Roger as well as manga illustrations that have been reimagined in the style of classic Nike ads. A vest also references the special effect of the Devil Fruits, whose owners in the One Piece universe “become enemies of the sea” and can no longer swim.
One Piece has also been present in sports for years, for example through gestures and references made by athletes during competitions. With this collaboration, Nike is now translating this connection into a joint collection for the first time.
The Nike x One Piece collection, featuring the Air Max Plus Gomu Gomu no Mi, Ope Ope no Mi, and Mera Mera no Mi, will be released on September 25, 2026, and will be available at the following retailers: AFEW-Store, Asphaltgold, HHV, and SUPPA.
