Vans is pleased to announce another collaboration with BAPE. Together with the iconic Japanese streetwear pioneers, the second head-to-toe collection is being launched. We already reported on the first drop at the end of last year: Vans x BAPE Sk8-Hi 38 DX & Authentic 44 DX.

The BAPE (“A Bathing Ape”) phenomenon began in 1993 when Japanese DJ, music producer, and fashion designer Nigo founded the lifestyle and streetwear brand that is so popular today.

Based in the heart of Tokyo—one of the world’s leading fashion capitals—BAPE has been a symbol of street fashion for more than 27 years.

Vans and BAPE share the same roots—street culture and self-expression are among the cornerstones of their philosophies.

At the end of 2020, a limited-edition Vans Customs collection—sold exclusively in China—offered a first sneak peek at the collaboration between the two brands.

This season, they’re unveiling their second global collection, which combines their iconic looks in a line of apparel and footwear and reinterprets classic Vans silhouettes.

The collection includes a reimagining of two of Vans’ most famous shoe models—the Sk8-Hi and

Old Skool. The new take on these silhouettes features canvas and suede uppers, the BAPE® signature ABC camo, and fresh, new colorways.

The capsule collection is rounded out by two limited-edition T-shirts in understated black and

white with logo details and a vibrant illustration of the Vans x BAPE Sk8-Hi.

The Vans x BAPE collection will be available starting February 26, 2022.
