As part of Paris Fashion Week, Puma created a unique location with the “Puma Mostro House”, which was all about the iconic Puma Mostro.
The first part of the exhibition offered an exciting glimpse into the future of Puma Mostro.
‍
‍
In addition to the recently released and upcoming Mostro releases, visitors were also able to experience innovative collaborations with renowned designers and brands.
‍
‍
These new interpretations took up the futuristic aesthetic of Mostro and developed it further to consolidate the shoe as a modern design icon.
‍
‍
The Puma Mostro is one of the most iconic Puma models and was first introduced in the late 1990s. It quickly achieved cult status thanks to its avant-garde design, which was both fashionable and functional. Originally designed as a casual shoe, the Mostro combined futuristic style with innovative technologies and set new standards in sneaker design.
‍
‍
‍
In a world dominated by classic and technically-oriented running shoes, Puma plays a special role with this unique model. The Mostro is much more than a simple hybrid shoe — it embodies the essence of the Puma brand and proves how bold design, functionality and street style can be combined.

‍
His Velcro system was particularly eye-catching, which set him apart from the usual lace-up shoes and gave him a sporty, minimalistic look. The split sole of the shoe offered exceptional flexibility and was suitable for both leisure activities and light sports use.
‍
‍
This was complemented by a sleek, ergonomic profile that was inspired by the world of martial arts and dance, providing a perfect mix of performance and style.
‍
‍
Another central component of the “Puma Mostro House” was the exhibition “The Archive”, which was realized in collaboration with Hartcopy and Inside Tag. This exhibition presented a carefully curated selection of legendary low-profile models from the Puma archive in Herzogenaurach, providing a fascinating insight into the brand's design history.
‍
‍
“The Archive” showed how Puma has developed innovative low-profile silhouettes over decades, which are characterized by their ground-level, minimalistic aesthetics and functionality.
‍
‍
The Puma Mostro still stands for innovation and experimentation today. He is a symbol of the brand's courage to position itself away from the mainstream and has firmly established his place as a design icon.
With the “Puma Mostro House”, this was impressively staged — a celebration of both the past and the future of one of Puma's most daring designs.
