Reebok and Warner Bros. have announced a shoe and apparel collection inspired by the legendary DC characters. The release will feature a mix of Reebok’s most popular models and DC’s superheroes.
The collaboration features the famous characters Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, the Joker, and Harley Quinn. In addition to the visual inspiration drawn from these characters, the shoes are also made from materials typical of the superheroes’ costumes.
Shaq Attaq — One of the most famous superheroes of all time graces Reebok’s Shaq Attaq sneaker. Inspired by the “Man of Steel,” this version of the shoe pays homage to some of Superman’s powers. There will also be a Superman-inspired Classic Leather in kids’ sizes.
LX2200 - The reflective bat emblem on the tongue of the LX2200 immediately reveals which superhero this silhouette is based on. The Batman inspiration is clearly evident in the embossing on the upper, which depicts the armor of the Batman suit.
Club C 85 – This Reebok silhouette belongs to the Joker. The inside of the sneaker is adorned with colorful graphics that reference the character’s iconic laugh. Additionally, the upper features numerous torn pieces of fabric.
Nano X2 - Wonder Woman’s armor defines the design of the Nano X2. The shoe’s upper features a reflective finish that creates an effect similar to Wonder Woman’s bracelets.
Various leather and metal accents on the sneaker represent the superheroine’s suit. The reflective laces symbolize the iconic “Lasso of Truth.”
Freestyle Hi – The design of this sneaker was inspired by Harley Quinn. The upper features graphics that reference some of her accessories, including her baseball bat and roller skates.
The transition from the heel to the upper is in a deep blue that closely resembles the design of her shirt.
Workout Plus - This glow-in-the-dark version of the Workout Plus brings Lex Luthor’s toxic kryptonite suit to the sneakers: from the luminous outsole to the glow-in-the-dark trim on the upper. The silhouette is rounded out by a ring lacing system reminiscent of Lex’s Kryptonite ring.
To complement the sneakers, there’s a unisex apparel line featuring a collection of graphic T-shirts and hoodies. Each piece features iconic logos from the DC universe and highlights the “Good vs. Evil” theme that runs throughout the entire collection.
