Charles Ormond Eames Jr. was an American designer, architect, and filmmaker. Together with his wife Ray Kaiser Eames, he did groundbreaking work in the fields of architecture, furniture design, industrial design and photography.
‍

‍
Known for their commitment to design as an instrument of change, the Eames frequently incorporated new materials and technologies into their work to create dynamic spaces that are flexible enough to meet the demands of modern life. The result was a stylish design aesthetic that is still very popular today.
Reebok, who have shown a very broad horizon in the search for collaboration partners in recent years, have now teamed up with the Eames Foundation for a release on the Club C 85 silhouette.
A few weeks ago, the collaboration was seaded on the Eames Office Instagram with the following picture. We assume that the version shown is a Family & Friends model. The EAMES logo in the side window of the Club C 85 is shown here in a multicolor version.

Club C 85 is probably Reebok's most popular tennis silhouette. Timeless and comfortable, it is the right choice for every everyday situation. When you think of Eames, similar associations come to mind.

One of the most famous and sought after pieces of furniture is the lounge chair. Ray and Charles Eames launched it on the market in 1956 together with furniture company Herman Miller. It is made of molded plywood and high-quality leather.

This design classic is still in production today and is also included in the MoMA permanent collection in New York.

The Reebok logo was replaced with EAMES lettering in large letters. The Eames Office logo is on the tongue.

The packaging of the Reebok x EAMES Club C 85 is the secret star of the release. Case Study House No. 8 was taken as a model and integrated into the design of the box.

The house dates from 1949 and was designed and lived in by Ray and Charles Eames. It is now used as an Eames Foundation museum and can also be visited. However, it is currently closed due to the corona pandemic.
