She ran the course in reverse the night before the official Berlin Marathon and then took part in the official race in the morning. In total, she covered an incredible 84.39 km.

The idea to approach the marathon in such an extraordinary way came about during joint planning with Reebok to make the Berlin Marathon experience something unique.

“I love going further rather than faster, so when Reebok and myself teamed up with the idea to double the distance to see what that would feel like I was all in.

Although it wasn’t my longest distance, it was a challenge because of the sleep deprivation as I would be running both marathon’s on the previous days sleep”, comments Lydia.

Reebok supports Oldham on her journey to constantly face new challenges.
For her exceptional run, she wore two different Reebok shoe models:
