PUMA x ROMBAUT Levitation & Levitation Sock

PUMA and ROMBAUT have teamed up to reinterpret and further develop shoe design. The joint collection combines ROMBAUT's conceptual approach with influences from the past and futuristic design elements.

Inspired by PUMA's archive and influenced by Eastern philosophies that emphasize mindfulness, knowledge and conscious decisions, the result is a line that combines innovation with a clear message.

PUMA x ROMBAUT SS25 Collaboration - 'Levitation' Collection

With its minimalist design, the PUMA x ROMBAUT collection is intended to convey peace, serenity and harmony with nature.

At the heart of the silhouette is the innovative Levitation sole — a floating heel element that supports the structure of the shoe and is connected to a Formstrip that surrounds the upper.

The accompanying PUMA x ROMBAUT Levitation Sock uses the same design language, but replaces the outer material with a high-top sock construction with a prominent ROMBAUT logo.

Made from recycled TPU components and synthetic leather, the design is 100% vegan — in line with ROMBAUT's commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly materials.

The Levitation concept made its debut during Paris Fashion Week SS25 and also marks ROMBAUT's tenth anniversary.

The campaign shows the collab in a surreal world where dream and reality merge. The contrast between Eastern philosophy and hypercapitalism is addressed. It sheds light on consumption and desire — whether as an expression of identity or as a quest for fulfillment.

The imagery also introduces Brainsport, a concept that unites mental and physical well-being, fostering clarity, resilience, and purpose in a fractured world. Levitation symbolizes the pursuit of wisdom, rising above chaos through mindfulness, knowledge, and action.

Rather than offering answers, the PUMA x ROMBAUT collaboration invites us to question what elevation and jumping into your higher self truly means.
