PUMA is renewing its partnership with Los Angeles-based designer Rhuigi Villaseñor for a special, limited-edition collection.
From the West Coast, Rhuigi looks across the country to the melting pot that is New York City, a cultural hotbed where music and style have been forged for decades.
Rhuigi brings together the past, present, and future and celebrates PUMA’s role in global culture with this new collection, which pays a special tribute to the five boroughs.

PUMA and Rhuigi have teamed up to celebrate the style codes of New York City. The collection features a faux-leather down jacket and the iconic PUMA Suede.

With his keen eye for reinterpreting American classics, Rhuigi adorned the down jacket with college-style appliqués and patches to create a unifying theme centered on New York City—the city that never sleeps.

The accompanying PUMA Suede is crafted from premium black leather, featuring textured details such as reptile embossing on the heel and the year “1991” in gold.

The collection’s campaign features real New Yorkers who showcase the beauty and individuality of New York City to the world in a way that only a local can experience—Liv (@tylivbonaparte), an artist who can also dribble two balls at once, Yang Xiao Di, a Chinese juggling master who has performed with the Big Apple Circus and the National Circus Project, and Jared Crawford (@choclattjared), a bucket drummer, industrial percussionist, and composer.

Rhuigi Villaseñor is the founder of the clothing label RHUDE, a brand that blends American iconography with nostalgic cultural references to offer a unique take on the city of Los Angeles. Villaseñor has made a name for himself with his reimagined classics, which draw inspiration from Americana, music, and street style.
The latest PUMA x Rhuigi collection is available at Asphaltgold.
