New Balance and Jaden Smith have teamed up again to release their signature 0.01 sneaker.

The 0.01 is the eagerly awaited development of the ongoing collaboration between the sports brand and the musician. The New Balance court styles served as inspiration for the shoe.

The silhouette is a low-top, has a white leather upper and is rounded off by the mesh tongue, which is printed with the NB logo. The sneaker has a split midsole and alludes to the previous Jaden model.

“I was delighted to be working with New Balance again and designing a sneaker inspired by classic New Balance Court silhouettes for a new generation.

‍

‍

In doing so, I've created something completely different from previous collaborations, while maintaining my distinctive style and craftsmanship that New Balance is known for,” said Jaden Smith.

“The vision behind the campaign is to make all outsiders and outcasts visible on the planet, not just a specific group of outsiders, but from all different cultures and lifestyles across the world.”

Smith first introduced 0.01 at the Coachella festival in April when he was on stage with his sister Willow.

He also gave an exclusive look at the sneaker at a pre-release event at the Japanese flagship store New Balance T-House.

The New Balance x MSFTSrep 0.01 will be available from October 12th. Keep an eye on the Sneaker Releases.

Smith has been a New Balance ambassador since 2019. This release is the third joint release from the musician and the sports brand.

Smith has already worked with New Balance to create silhouettes inspired by the brand's 1700 and X-Racer models from 2020. Together, they launched them in 2021 and 2022 with additional color schemes.
