Mizuno Sportstyle and Maharishi are continuing their collaboration and, in their third joint silhouette, are focusing on one of the Japanese brand’s most iconic models, the Wave Prophecy LS.
Maharishi teams up with Mizuno once again, continuing the dialogue between technical innovation and symbolic design.
With this reinterpretation of the Wave Prophecy LS, the collaboration draws on Maharishi’s longstanding exploration of duality, where Eastern and Western influences, nature and technology, as well as function and expression, converge.
Founded in Japan in 1906, Mizuno stands for performance, precision, and continuous innovation.
The Sportstyle Line translates decades of technical expertise into progressive silhouettes, combining athletic functionality with contemporary design and innovative materials.
Based on Mizuno’s performance DNA, the Wave Prophecy LS Maharishi is crafted from premium leather, suede, mesh, and TPU and features the distinctive Infinity Wave sole.
Design details include a tongue embroidered with a dragon, reflective 3M elements, and a TPU cage. They combine functional precision with multifaceted cultural references.
The Mizuno Sportstyle Wave Prophecy LS x Maharishi releases on April 10 and will be available at the following retailers: AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN, HHV, and SUPPA.
