Karhu and Footpatrol have teamed up for their third project and worked together on the Fusion 2.0 Silhouette.
‍
‍
Footpatrol dived deep into the KARHU archive for the collab to search for hidden treasures...
‍
‍
They came across a KARHU snowboot from the 1980s, which bears the name “SNOWSTAR”.
‍
‍
The SnowStar boot was KARHU's answer to warm winter running shoes for fitness enthusiasts.
‍
‍
It was made of durable nylon material with synthetic leather reinforcements, a quick-lacing system and a snow guard that was hidden in the Velcro tongue.
‍
‍
Footpatrol was inspired by the SNOWSTAR silhouette and, with the Fusion 2.0 model, has created a modernized, city-suitable running model that is characterized by durability and comfort.
‍
‍
With a mix of water-repellent nylon material, smooth nubuck, rubberized inserts and OG branding, this pair is Footpatrol's vision of a durable city runner.
‍
‍
The shoes are delivered in a special box inspired by the original SnowStar packaging from the 80s.
‍
‍
The individually designed insole shows the original SNOWSTAR profile.
‍
The package includes two extra pairs of rope laces.
‍
‍
The KARHU x Footpatrol Fusion 2.0 'SNOWSTAR' will be on the market on Saturday, October 14th. Check out 43einhalb, AFEW Store, Allike, Asphaltgold and SUPPA.
