KARHU is delighted to announce the latest addition to the lifestyle line-up. Inspired by the KARHU XT from the mid 90s, the Fusion XT gets its namesake from “cross-training” roots.
‍
‍
Back then, KARHU's diverse range of products included not only runners, but also a wide range of models and accessories for other sports.
‍
‍
The new Fusion XT is intended to honor this unique part of KARHU's heritage. During the creative process, the KARHU design team looked at old catalogs and was impressed by several models from the 90s.
‍
‍
The Fusion XT's iconic M logo and side overlay panels pay homage to the 1996 Fusion design.
‍
‍
For more comfort, the outer material has heel stabilization and a firm tongue.
KARHU was also inspired by the 1993 Ultra model and their unique Twin System Air Revive cushioning for maximum comfort and all-day comfort.
‍
‍
True to its cross-training DNA, the Fusion XT focuses on function and uses a full rubber outsole for better grip and traction.
‍
‍
To bring this new model to life, the photo shoot for the Fusion XT tells the story of a family and the rituals of sneaker culture.
‍
‍
Lacing, styling and caring for sneakers is a passion and an art that parents and siblings all over the world are proud to teach and pass on to the younger generation.
‍
‍
With the release of the Fusion XT, Karhu wants to keep these traditions alive, especially with such a heritage silhouette.
‍
‍
The Fusion XT will be released on July 5th in Bright White/Fiery Red and Cloud Dancer/ Agate Grey at 43einhalb, AFEW Store, Asphaltgold, Fortytree, GlĂĽckstreter, HHV, Schrittmacher and SUPPA.
